Hey there,  well, we're well into 2009

another busy year

with a few fab road trips

it's off to fish we go!

 

 

 

i took a few hours out from all the fishing & tuatuas hunting

to take a trip down the beach to find some birds to photograph

Mykonos enjoyed the holiday too

 

 well except for the rather cramped ride home

due to our shopping spree!

I got the opportunity to photograph the Hawks

at Maimai vineyards

Later in the yr  Myk & I went on a working holiday

which took us to Hamilton Taupo Rotorua Wellington

& back to  Napier where we stay at the

 wonderful peaceful Berach B&B

owned by my fabulous cousin Paul & his gorgeous wife Meg

 

 

where we where spoilt with breakfast in bed

scrumpious meals & lots of laughs 

Mykonos particually liked the lavender!!

Well another year has flown past

& Christmas time is here again!

 

 we would like to take this opportunity to

Christmas 2007

I headed out to Cape Brett Lighthouse for a week holiday

this is where I grew up

so was lovely to be back home again


I took this trip out with the DOC team

who are in the process of renovating the lighthouse

& clearing the tracks around the station

Did lots a fishing,  photographing, wine & laughter,

climbing, climbing & more climbing!!

as you can see the kaykuia grass is up to, la our waists here really hard going up hill, heaps of fun sliding down!

 

 

 

 

 

 the weather picked up 

& we had to walk out to Deep Water Cove

& ended in a very rough boat ride home to Whaitangi
