& Christmas time is here again!

 we would like to take this opportunity to

Christmas 2007

I headed out to Cape Brett Lighthouse for a week holiday

this is where I grew up

so was lovely to be back home again

I took this trip out with the DOC team

who are in the process of renovating the lighthouse

& clearing the tracks around the station

Did lots a fishing,  photographing, wine & laughter,

climbing, climbing & more climbing!!

as you can see the kaykuia grass is up to, la our waists here really hard going up hill, heaps of fun sliding down!

 the weather picked up 

& we had to walk out to Deep Water Cove

& ended in a very rough boat ride home to Whaitangi

Sensational to be out there again

Nige relaxing on the deck we just built

crayfish, wine & sunset for diner...

doesn't get any better than this !

Even the dog got into fishin'
